DMCA & Copyright Policy
Pulse256 respects the rights of artists, musicians, producers, labels, photographers, videographers, writers, publishers, and other copyright owners.
We expect everyone who uploads content to Pulse256 to have the necessary rights or permission to do so. This policy explains how copyright works on Pulse256 and what to do if you believe content available on the platform infringes your copyright.
1. Copyright on Pulse256
Music, music videos, photographs, artwork, articles, graphics, written material, and other creative works may be protected by copyright.

- Music videos and Cover artwork
- Featured performers, Producers, Labels, and Publishers
If you upload content on behalf of another person or organization, you must have their authorization to do so. You should not upload content that you know you do not have permission to distribute.
3. Authorization Given to Pulse256
When an artist or authorized uploader submits content to Pulse256 and agrees to the applicable upload terms, they authorize Pulse256 to use the submitted content as necessary to provide the services connected to the submission.
This may include hosting, storing, displaying, streaming, making the content available for download where applicable, and promoting the content through Pulse256.
This authorization does not mean that Pulse256 becomes the owner of the artist's copyright.
4. Copyright Complaints
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been uploaded to Pulse256 without your permission, you can contact us and provide information about the work.
To help us review a complaint, please provide:
- Your full name and contact information
- A description of the copyrighted work
- The Pulse256 page or location where the content appears
- An explanation of why you believe the content infringes your rights
5. What Happens After a Complaint
When we receive a credible copyright complaint, we may review the information provided and take appropriate action.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
- Contacting the uploader
- Temporarily restricting or removing the content
- Requesting additional information
- Keeping the content available while we investigate
Submitting a complaint does not automatically guarantee that content will be removed.
6. Counter Claims and Disputes
If content has been removed or restricted because of a copyright complaint and the uploader believes the complaint is incorrect, the uploader may contact Pulse256 and provide information supporting their right to use the content.
This may include evidence such as a license, permission from the copyright owner, a distribution agreement, or ownership documentation.
Where a copyright dispute cannot be resolved through our process, the parties may need to resolve the matter through the appropriate legal channels.
7. Repeat Copyright Infringement
Pulse256 may take stronger action against accounts that repeatedly upload content that infringes the rights of others.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include removing infringing content, restricting upload privileges, or suspending and terminating an account.
Our response may depend on the seriousness and frequency of the alleged infringement.
8. False Copyright Complaints
Copyright complaints should only be submitted when the person making the complaint has a genuine basis for believing that their rights have been infringed.
Providing false, misleading, or deliberately inaccurate information may cause harm to artists and other users.
Pulse256 may take appropriate action where we believe the copyright reporting system is being abused.
9. Artist Authorization and Copyright Complaints
An artist's submission to Pulse256 does not prevent another legitimate copyright owner from raising a complaint.
For example, an artist may have permission to perform or distribute one part of a song while another person or organization owns rights to another part of the work.
When a legitimate rights holder raises a concern, Pulse256 may request additional information from the relevant parties.
10. Unauthorized Reuploads
Users must not download music, videos, artwork, or other material from Pulse256 and re-upload it to another account or platform without the necessary rights or permission.
The fact that content is available on Pulse256 does not mean that it is free for unrestricted redistribution.
11. Public Domain & Licensed Content
Not every work is necessarily protected by copyright in the same way. Some material may be in the public domain or may be distributed under a license that permits certain uses.
If you upload licensed or public domain content, you are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with the applicable license or legal requirements.
12. Copyright & Paid Upload Services
Payment of a Pulse256 artist upload fee does not give an artist ownership of music or other material that belongs to someone else.
The upload fee provides access to the applicable Pulse256 upload service. It does not replace the artist's responsibility to obtain the necessary rights and permissions.
13. Copyright & Promotional Services
Payment for advertising or promotion does not guarantee that Pulse256 will continue promoting content if a legitimate copyright issue arises.
If promoted material becomes subject to a valid copyright concern, we may pause, restrict, or remove the promotion while the matter is reviewed.
14. Copyright in Pulse256's Material
Pulse256 may own or have permission to use certain material appearing on the platform, including its branding, logos, website design, original graphics, written material, and other original content.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, redistribute, or commercially exploit Pulse256's protected material without appropriate permission.
15. Legal Compliance
Pulse256 aims to handle copyright matters in accordance with applicable copyright laws and regulations.
The term "DMCA" is commonly used for the United States copyright notice and takedown system. It does not mean that every copyright matter involving Pulse256 is governed exclusively by United States law.
16. How to Report Copyright Infringement
