1. Getting Started

What is Pulse256?

Pulse256 is a Ugandan music and entertainment platform where you can discover music and artists, listen to and download songs, watch music videos, follow artists, vote, and discover entertainment and events.

Do I need an account?

You can access some Pulse256 content without an account. Some features require you to create an account, especially features that need us to identify your activity, such as following artists, liking or disliking songs, and voting.

How do I create an account?

Select the Sign Up or Create Account option on Pulse256 and provide the information requested. After completing registration, you can sign in and access the features available to your account.

2. Your Account

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Use the password recovery option on the login page and follow the instructions provided. If you cannot recover your account, contact Pulse256 support.

Can I change my account information?

Where the feature is available, you can update your account information from your account settings. If you cannot change something yourself, contact support for assistance.

Can I delete my account?

If account deletion is available through your account settings, you can use that option. You can also contact Pulse256 if you need assistance. Some information may need to be retained where required for legitimate business, security, or legal reasons.

3. Listening to Music

How do I listen to a song?

Find the song you want to hear and select the play or streaming option provided on the song page. The availability of streaming may depend on the particular content.

Why is a song not playing?

Try the following:

  1. Check your internet connection.
  2. Refresh the page.
  3. Try playing another song.
  4. Make sure your browser is up to date.
  5. Try Pulse256 on another supported device or browser.

If the problem continues, contact support and tell us the song and device you are using.

4. Downloading Music

How do I download a song?

If a song is available for download, a download option will appear on its Pulse256 page. Select the download option and follow the instructions provided by your device or browser.

Why can't I download a song?

Not every song may be available for download. If a download option is available but does not work, check your internet connection and try again. If the problem continues, contact support with the name of the song.

Can I share downloaded music?

Downloading a song from Pulse256 does not automatically give you permission to redistribute, resell, or re-upload it. Use downloaded content only in ways permitted by the applicable rights and terms.

5. Music Videos

Pulse256 may provide music videos and other video content. Select the video you want to watch and use the available playback controls.

If a video is not working, try refreshing the page, checking your connection, or using another supported browser.

6. Following Artists

How do I follow an artist?

Sign in to your Pulse256 account, visit the artist's profile, and select the Follow option when available. Following an artist can help you keep track of their activity and new releases.

How do I stop following an artist?

Visit the artist's profile and select the option to unfollow the artist.

7. Likes and Dislikes

Registered users may be able to like or dislike songs. These features allow users to interact with music and help Pulse256 understand audience engagement.

You should not use fake accounts, automated systems, or other methods to manipulate likes or dislikes.

8. Voting

How does voting work?

When Pulse256 provides a voting feature, the voting page will explain the available options and any rules that apply. Some votes may require you to sign in.

Why can't I vote?

Possible reasons include: You are not signed in, the voting period has ended, you have already used your permitted vote, or the vote is temporarily unavailable.

9. For Artists

How can I upload my music?

Artists can use the available Pulse256 artist upload process to submit music. You may need to create or verify an artist account and complete the required payment before uploading.

Do artists pay for every song?

Pulse256 may provide a one-time upload fee that allows an artist to use the applicable upload service without paying another upload fee for each individual upload, subject to the terms of the service.

Can I upload music belonging to someone else?

You should only upload music or other content when you own the necessary rights or have permission to distribute it. If you upload content on behalf of another artist, label, or organization, you should have the appropriate authorization.

What information should I provide when uploading?

  • Artist name and Song title
